The expansion includes a modern 12,200 square-feet exhibit hall that is able to accommodate up to 750 guests for a wedding reception, endless floorplan options for large conferences and expos, and seating for up to 1,200 guests theater-style. "I photograph weddings throughout Illinois and have photographed several weddings at the IHotel. The venue itself is beautiful whether it's the rooms for getting ready, the lobby for indoor bride/bridesmaid and/or groom/groomsmen photos plus the ballroom itself is gorgeous, especially with colored uplighting. The I Hotel is also located close to Japan House and the connected University of Illinois Arboretum -- both make for gorgeous outdoor photos either before or after the ceremony. One of my favorite Champaign-Urbana venues. Highly recommend!!!"
